Technical route for experience climbers.
Day: 1
Drive along Boma Ng'ombe to Sanya Juu and up to Londorosi gate {Alt. 2200m} registration, drive to the road near Lemosho glades and start the trek through the rain forest, for dinner and overnight at Forest Camp{Alt.2440m}
Day 2:
Full day trekking through Shira Caldera and desert plateau, overnight at Shira I camp {Alt. 3700m}.
Day 3:
Trekking across Shira plateau, for dinner and overnight at GM II camp {Alt.3700m}
Day 4:
Trekking 6-7hrs through Baranco valley overnight at Baranco camp {Alt. 3940m} {But this day can also be used for altitude acclimatization
Day 5:
Climb up to Barranco wall across valleys for dinner and overnight at Karanga Camp {Alt. 4270m}.
Day 6:
Day is spent for acclimatization, dinner and overnight at Karanga camp {Alt. 4270m}
Day 7:
Trek to the summit Uhur Peak {Alt. 5895m} then return 12-15hrs for dinner and overnight at GM III camp {Alt.1100m}
Day 8:
Walk down across the Alpine moorland to Mweka gate say goodbye to your guide/porters, certificates award and onward transfers.

Price Includes
- - Transfers from Arusha/park Gate and back, Guides Cook and Porters
- - Park Fees, Hut/camping Fees and Rescue Fees. All meals during Climb.
Price Excludes
- - Mineral Water, Drinks, Medical / Luggage or Personal Insurance,
- - Mountain Climbing Gears (which can be hired in Arusha town), and
- - Tipping to Guides/cook and
- - Porters.
Mountain Clothing:
- * Warm, windproof jacket with hood.
- * Waterproof jacket and over trousers.
- * Walking trouser, long sleeve, shirts and pullovers.
- * Warm underwear, Good comfortable walking boots.
- * Training shoes {for evening}.
- *Gaiters.
- * Sun hat, * Warm hat or balaclava, *Scarf.
Mountain Equipment
- * Good warm sleeping bag a must.
- * Water bottle {1 to 2 litres}
- * Water purification tablets/solution {and filter}
- * Wash kit and towel, toilet paper.
- * First aid kit {including blister plaster, headache tablets,
- suncream, lip
- salve, personal medication.
- * Torch, Sun glasses, Walking poles.
- - The luggage that porters are allowed to carry is limited to 35 pounds (ie: 15 kgs)
- - Overweight or extra luggage will require an extra porter at a rate of $10/bag/day
- - You can leave extra luggage at your hotel in Arusha or at our office (do not leave any valuables like cash, jewelry, electronics, etc)
